Quick Guide to Georgia’s 2024-2025 Hunting Seasons

Georgia’s 2024-2025 hunting season dates are set, and since it’s the second year of a two-year hunting regulations cycle, there aren’t many changes to report. In fact, the only changes other than the small annual shift in dates are:

  • Bobcat and foxes may be hunted using recorded calls or sounds (e.g. electronic calls).
  • Statewide quail season opens the 2nd Saturday in November.
  • Georgia hunters have two new public hunting opportunities with Featherfield WMA (Seminole County) and Cochrans Creek (Dawson County)

Listed below are the season dates for this fall/winter, as well as the associated bag limits for each season. While we strive to ensure we provide the most accurate, up-to-date information available, always consult the official Georgia Hunting Regulations before heading afield. Good luck this season!
